Description

Build it. Shape it. Leave your mark.

Our Construction Programme gives young people the chance to learn practical skills while creating real projects that benefit their community.

Delivered at Edward Woods Community Centre in partnership with SAY Youth Charity, and as part of LMP Action’s Action Academy, this programme is for young people who want to work with their hands, solve problems and see the results of their effort.

What young people will do

• Design and build items for their local community

• Learn hands on skills such as measuring, cutting and assembling

• Work safely with tools and materials

• Understand how construction projects are planned and delivered

This is practical from the start. Young people do not just learn about construction. They create something real.

Industry insight

Alongside building projects, young people explore the construction industry and the different career paths within it. From trades to site management, from design to engineering, they gain insight into the routes available and how to get started.

Why join

Gain practical skills.

Build confidence.

Create something that lasts in your community.

Learn skills that open doors and see what you are capable of building.
