Leadership - Influence through effective communication

Effective leadership starts with effective communication. Join Sarah Gill - Chief Executive Officer of Community Works and mentor on the Community First Yorkshire Leadership Mentoring Programme - for this interactive two-hour session exploring how communication shapes leadership, influence and organisational culture.

Through practical discussion and self-reflection, participants will gain a deeper understanding of their own communication style and how it influences their effectiveness as a leader. Sarah will explore the links between communication and leadership, helping attendees build confidence in setting direction, influencing others and creating positive workplace cultures.

To ensure the session reflects participants' needs, attendees will be invited to choose a key area of focus from four options:
