A 90‑minute, open, science‑informed conversation about ADHD — what we know, what we don’t, and what can genuinely help.
This InSight Q&A session is a relaxed, supportive space to ask the questions that rarely get answered clearly. Whether you’re diagnosed, exploring ADHD, supporting someone, or simply curious, this session offers grounded, honest information without the noise, trends, or over‑simplified narratives that dominate social media.
Rather than repeating old assumptions, we’ll talk openly about what ADHD actually is, how it shows up in daily life, and what current research does — and doesn’t — tell us. We’ll also explore practical ways people can support their symptoms outside of medication, using approaches that fit real life rather than perfectionistic expectations.
What ADHD really is
A clear, accessible explanation of ADHD as a pattern of traits and impacts — not a fixed identity or a neurological destiny.
What we know (and what we don’t)
An honest look at the science, including recent research that challenges long‑held assumptions. No jargon, no over‑promising, no myths.
What can help beyond medication
We’ll discuss attention, motivation, emotional regulation, overwhelm, routines, communication, and the everyday challenges people face — and explore practical, ADHD‑friendly ways to support them.
A space to ask real questions
You can ask about diagnosis, traits, behaviour, relationships, work, parenting, strategies, or anything you’ve struggled to get a straight answer on.
A calm, low‑shame environment
This is not a clinical assessment, not a workshop, and not a test. It’s a conversation designed to reduce confusion, reduce guilt, and increase clarity.
Many people are left with a diagnosis but no understanding. Others are overwhelmed by conflicting information online. Some feel unsure what to believe, or feel pressured into seeing ADHD as an identity rather than a lens.

The InSight Programme is developed by lived‑experience professionals and informed by clinicians. We stay objective, cautious, and transparent — avoiding deterministic brain narratives and focusing instead on understanding, capability, and real‑life change.
Our aim is simple:
to help people understand ADHD in a way that is accurate, compassionate, and genuinely useful.
