The Hive Newport are looking for volunteer kitchen assistants to support our community kitchen and community space in the heart of Newport city centre.Roles available:<ul><li>Preparation of food and meals during closed periods</li><li>Cooking and serving breakfast (9.30 till 11)</li><li>Cooking and serving lunch (12 till 2)</li><li>Serving and assisting the general running of the space during mealtimes.</li></ul>Please note that this is an expression in interest. By booking onto this page, you are not signing up automatically to be a volunteer on a particular date. Once you have reigistered, you will be contacted by The Hive to arrange a visit and an induction into volunteering.

As part of the Green Careers Pathway, participants may also have opportunities to contribute to the Green Careers Youth Board, helping to shape future opportunities for young people and support youth-led Green Careers campaigns.

These opportunities are offered directly through Codi's Green Careers Pathway programme and are separate from vacancies advertised by other employers and organisations on Plinth.
