We invite you to our Community Points engagement session kindly hosted by Bolsover CVS on Wednesday 30th July 10am— 12noon at BCVS Office, 8a Cavendish Walk, Bolsover S44 6DB.
The Community Point scheme aims to help victims to cope and recover from crime by developing relationships between Derbyshire Victim Services and community organisations, making referral pathways easier, and ensuring victims can quickly access the right support from the right people.
There are two types of community point that an organisation can be: Primary CP: Organisation SPOCs will be trained in identifying and assessing victim need and pathways for support, enabling the organisation to conduct initial assessments with service users and support quicker and efficient referrals into Derbyshire Victim Services DVS would also work closely with Primary CPs to hold drop ins, co-work cases and continually develop the service. Secondary CP: These CPs will be given an input from DVS around awareness of our service and referral pathways. We will still have a strong relationship but would not expect staff from these CPs to undertake initial assessments.
