Mandem Music is a free 16-week music programme helping men develop their skills, confidence and creativity through music. Hosted by Reecey Dixon at The Wolf Den, Pendeford Hall Lane, WV9 5ET on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm, sessions alternate each week between music production and writing & recording.
Mandem Music takes place at The Wolf Den, Mandem Meetup's Wolverhampton HQ, on Pendeford Hall Lane, WV9 5ET.
Mandem Music runs on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm across 16 weeks. Join at any time.
The programme is for men who are interested in music, whether you're completely new to making music or already have some experience. You don't need to be a professional musician, producer or rapper — just bring an interest in learning and creating.
The programme is designed to build skills, confidence and creativity, while giving you the opportunity to work with other men, develop your own sound and create music together.
You’ll learn beatmaking, sampling, drums and basslines, melodies, arrangement and mixing, alongside writing bars, song structure, finding your flow, recording vocals and performing. The programme is about learning, creating and collaborating in a supportive environment.
You don't need to bring any equipment. Just bring yourself, your ideas and a willingness to get involved.
If you already have music, lyrics or ideas you'd like to work on, you're welcome to bring them along.
Sessions begin with a launch and introductions, build through production, writing and recording, and finish with a Mandem Music Showcase / Listening Session where participants can share what they've created.
