Free Family-Friendly Science Centre Bike Ride

Ride to Glasgow Science Centre with us!

Join Women on Wheels for a family-friendly cycle from the Women on Wheels Hub in Govanhill to Glasgow Science Centre. We'll set off at 10am on a route suitable for confident young riders and families, arriving in time to enjoy three floors of hands-on interactive exhibits.

The ride is open to everyone, with a minimum age of 6 years. Children must be confident cyclists and able to ride independently with their family on a mixed-use route. Cargo bikes, trailers welcome.

Either bring your own bikes or borrow Women on Wheels bikes from the hub. We can provide rear child seats and a trailer if needed too, just get in touch.

We'll return to Govanhill for 2pm, giving plenty of time to explore the Glasgow Science Centre.

Good news for G42 residents: Free entry to Glasgow Science Centre is available on the day with proof of address for G42 residents. Entry includes access to the Science Mall and its interactive exhibits (Planetarium and IMAX not included). If you are not a G42 resident, you will need to pay for entry to Glasgow Science Centre.
