Paediatric First Aid

We’re pleased to offer this 2-day Paediatric First Aid course, delivered in partnership with Equans — a fantastic opportunity for staff working with children and young people to gain essential, life-saving skills and a recognised qualification.

This classroom-based training will equip you with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to respond effectively to a range of emergency situations involving infants and children. Whether in your sessions, programmes, or day-to-day practice, this training ensures you are prepared to act quickly and safely when it matters most.

Across the two days, you will cover key areas including:

• Responding to unresponsive infants and children
• CPR and use of AED
• Managing choking incidents
• Treating injuries such as burns, fractures, and bleeding
• Understanding your responsibilities as a first aider

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Paediatric First Aid qualification, supporting safer practice across your organisation.

Important information:

• Attendance on both days is required to receive the qualification
• A maximum of 2 staff per organisation can attend
