Join Thames21 to help plant the Wellington Road North Raingarden. We will be planting shrubs, trees, and grasses in the newly constructed raingarden. This will increase biodiversity.

The Raingarden will also help reduce surface water flooding, improve water quality and provide an improved public space for the community to enjoy.

This activity is suitable for anyone over the age of 16. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please turn up on time as there will be a health and safety briefing.

What to bring

• Warm clothes (including waterproofs)
• A packed lunch
• Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided
• All tools and equipment will be provided (no experience is necessary!)

Hounslow Council, and Thames Water are installing several Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) across Hounslow as part of the Thames Water Strategic Partnership (TWSP).
