Description

This very pleasant walk meanders through the surprisingly large Temple Park. The park contains a fascinating mix of woodland, mixed scrub, grassland and small ponds. Listen and look for a large variety of birds including kestrels, skylarks and reed bunting.


  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Time: 1 hour
  • Distance: 2.5 miles
  • Total height climbed along the route: 43 ft
  • Terrain: Mostly good footpaths (concrete or tarmac) however there is one short section which can be muddy after wet weather.
  • Steps: None
  • Wheelchair accessible: No (many of the paths are too narrow or uneven)
  • Toilets: Cleadon Park Library.
