The forum will have two parts: one on the VAWG strategy and another on the NHS 10-Year Planning Priorities and their relevance to Hackney. The agenda is currently being drafted and will be circulated with confirmed speakers soon.

Hackney Council for Voluntary Service

Hackney CVS is a local infrastructure organisation (LIO), and we support voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations located in, or serving communities living, working, or studying within the London Borough of Hackney and the City of London (City & Hackney).

We have three core functions:

Giving a voice to the City and Hackney VCS and seldom-heard communities, empowering them to inform, shape, and influence decisions affecting residents.
Providing a bridge to connect VCS organisations and residents with each other, and with statutory partners.
Ensuring the VCS thrives, by building the capacity of the VCS through training, 1:1 support, and by leveraging resources, financial and otherwise, for the sector.
