Description

We’re inviting residents and community organisations from across Cheshire and Warrington to take part in a workshop to help shape the Cheshire and Warrington Get Working Plan.

In the workshop we will bring people together to explore what gets in the way of (barriers) and what helps people to access work, training, and volunteering opportunities.

Who it’s for:

This session is open to:

  • People with lived and living experience of barriers to employment or skills opportunities.
  • Community and voluntary organisations supporting residents around employment, skills, or volunteering.

What to expect:

  • A welcoming and informal workshop where everyone’s voice is valued and listened to.
  • Opportunities to share your experiences, ideas, and local insights.
  • Your input will directly inform the Get Working Strategy and future actions across the subregion.

We have a small/limited budget available to help with travel expenses so that people can take part. If the cost of getting to the session would be a barrier for you, please let us know and we can see what we can support with.
