Hello there! Thank you very much for the booking the 'Let's Be Detectives in Beverley...' session on Thursday 21st August at 10.30am -2.30pm. It is planned to be a brilliant session full of creative activities including, arts, crafts, writing - and a special Beverley Based Treasure Hunt. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a bottle of water for you to have at the session. Lunch will be provided for the group as part of this session. This session is aimed at 5- 11 years. Like Treasure Hunts? then come along and have some detective fun with this four hour session of arts, crafts, and drama activities. Delivered in partnership with East Riding Archives, you will also get the chance to learn some real fun facts about Beverley. This session will include a supervised treasure hunt around the building, and possible visit into Beverley. This session is aimed at children aged between 5 - 11 years. Lunch will be provided for participants. Lunch will be jacket potatoes, with a choice of two fillings, salad and fruit.

Mary Wollstonecraft lived in all different places throughout her life including Beverley. She even went on an adventure to find some stolen treasure.&nbsp; Come and join our hands-on arts and crafts activities that explore Mary Wollstonecraft's life and the 1700s through creative map-making and boat-building with recycled materials, and other exciting activities. Plus food for each participant. This activity is only for children who receive free school meals and attend school in the East Riding.

We offer creative workshops, projects and events in schools and to children and young people in the community.

Welcome to the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) website. Here you’ll be able to view, book and find out lots of information about the fun opportunities that are available in the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays for children and young people aged 5-16 years. <h2>Who is the programme for?</h2>Funded places on creative and active programmes are available to children and young people who receive benefit related free school meals and attend an East Riding school. There are also a limited number of places available to children and young people who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) commissioned by East Riding of Yorkshire Council. We would like as many families getting involved in HAF, and due to the demand for places, children and young people are able to attend 4 HAF activities for free at Easter, 16 sessions throughout the summer holidays and a further 4 activities at Christmas, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Most sessions are 4 hours long and a meal is included at each session. Be a part of HAF and enjoy making memories.
