Charles Dickens is one of the world’s most famous writers. Born in 1812, his family moved to London from Kent in the 1820s. This walk explores several London locations linked to Dickens, including the site of Warren’s Blacking Factory, now part of Charing Cross Station, where 12-year-old Charles worked while his father was imprisoned for debt.

We’ll also see houses where he lived and worked as an adult, along with some of his favourite drinking and dining spots.
