Description

Girlz A’LOUD is a cycling programme for girls in P7–S4, combining on- and off-bike activities to build confidence, develop cycling skills and create friendships.

The programme provides a fun, inclusive and supportive environment, particularly for girls who are less active, lack confidence or do not currently participate in organised sport.

Scottish Cycling is delighted to be partnering with Clyde Cycle Park to deliver a six-week block of Girlz A'LOUD sessions, running every Tuesday from the 20th of October to the 24th of November, between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.

The sessions will include a range of fun cycling activities designed to build confidence, develop skills, and encourage girls to get active on their bikes. Alongside the cycling sessions, participants will take part in a creative art project led by a professional mandala artist.

Over the six weeks, the group will work together to create a unique piece of artwork that will be permanently displayed at Clyde Cycle Park, leaving a lasting legacy from the project.

We're excited to have qualified female cycling coaches delivering the bike activities, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone involved.

The sessions are completely FREE to attend, and all bikes and equipment can be provided if required.
