It Takes a Village: Video Launch & Learning Event

Young K&C invites local partners and professionals to join us for the launch of the It Takes a Village (ITAV) website, resources and campaign.
This event marks an important step in strengthening our borough-wide response to serious youth violence and exploitation through collaboration, shared learning and practical tools.
What to Expect
- Launch of the ITAV website and service mapping – a new accessible hub of local support, safe spaces and community resources.
- Screening of the ITAV campaign video highlighting youth voice and community partnership.
- Introduction to the ITAV toolkit – practical materials to support professionals in identifying risk and responding effectively.
- Focused informative session covering:
- County Lines exploitation and pathways into exploitation
- Input from the Metropolitan Police as part of County Lines Intensification Week, sharing valuable insight and current intelligence
- Joint Enterprise legislation and other key laws affecting young people involved in or at risk of serious youth violence, delivered by Just for Law Kids, providing practical legal insight for professionals
As with all Young K&C events, there will be space for discussion and cross-sector connection, helping us build the strong relationships at the heart of a ‘village’ approach.
