The Tower Hamlets Food Poverty Network - including The Royal Foundation of St Katharine, Bow Foodbank, Tower Hamlets CVS and others - invite you to a full-day conference bringing together food providers, partners, and policymakers across the borough.


About this event

This gathering is for anyone with a role in tackling food poverty - from food banks, pantries, community kitchens, and advice services to faith communities, local authorities, and voluntary sector organisations.


Confirmed speaker:

  • Andrew Forsey OBE (CEO, Feeding Britain) – national challenges and opportunities.


Themes & sessions include:

  • The UK, London and Tower Hamlets picture (invited local/public-health perspective)
  • Panel: Building a Food-Secure Tower Hamlets: What Works? 
  • Innovation spotlight from local providers
  • Interactive breakouts where participants will explore what’s working, the biggest challenges, and the practical steps we can take together over the next year

  • Hot buffet lunch provided by RFSK (from ~13:30)
