Orchard Workshop

Following the successful planting of three new orchards in the Tufnell Park area, we're delighted to be offering a series of follow-up workshops.

These sessions will give us a chance to come together, check on our orchards and learn more about their ongoing care and maintenance.

We have three exciting workshops planned, each designed to help you build practical skills while supporting the long-term health of our community orchards.

Tuesday 5th May, 9.30am - 12pm:

Pollinators & Biodiversity

Join us for a guided walk and pollinator count at each site as we explore the importance of pollinators and biodiversity in our green spaces.

Meeting point: Whittington Park Orchard next to Whittington Park Community Centre

Tuesday 2nd June, 9.30am - 12pm:

Summer Pruning & Woodland Gardening

A hands-on practical session focusing on summer pruning techniques and woodland garden care.

Meeting point: Woodland Garden, Octopus Community Plant Nursery

Tuesday 7th July, 9.30am - 12pm:

Orchard Blitz - Caring for our Orchards

A practical session to help care for the orchard including weeding, mulching and watering.

Meeting point: Whittington Park Orchard next to Whittington Park Community Centre
