The Shoreditch Park Neighbourhood Forum invites parents, carers, local residents, and community organisations to join us for a supportive and informative face-to-face session focused on early years mental health and wellbeing for children with additional needs and SEND ; while also recognising the emotional wellbeing of parents and carers themselves.
Caring for a child with additional needs can bring joy, but also worries, pressures, stress, and anxiety when navigating services, education, diagnosis pathways, and everyday family life. This forum creates a safe and welcoming space for parents and carers to connect, share experiences, ask questions, and explore support for both their child’s wellbeing and their own mental health.
Join us for an engaging community session bringing together local organisations, practitioners, and support services working with children and families across the neighbourhood.
Discover services and community organisations supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, development, SEND needs, and family wellbeing.
Explore ways to manage stress, worries, and anxiety while caring for a child with additional needs or SEND.
Meet other parents and carers, share experiences, and build supportive community connections.
Take part in discussions and Q&A sessions to better understand available support, early intervention pathways, and wellbeing resources.
Gain practical information, reassurance, and tools to help navigate challenges and support both your child and yourself.
Take away local contacts, resources, and information about support available within the community.
