Discover the River Beck: Family-Friendly Nature Activity

  • Harvington Woods
  • Friday 30th May
  • 10.30 -12.30
  • Free – Registration required in advance to help us plan activities

Join us for a relaxed, family-friendly event by the beautiful River Beck in Harvington Woods.

Come and explore your local river, learn about water quality, and see the tiny creatures that call the river home through an interactive Riverfly monitoring demonstration. It’s a great hands-on way for kids (and grown-ups!) to connect with nature.

Meet the Thames21 River Restoration and Evidence teams and find out about the improvements we’re making to the river, all with the incredible support of our local volunteers and Friends of Harvington.

This event is perfect for families, nature lovers, and curious minds of all ages. Whether you’re local or just discovering the area, come and get inspired by what’s happening right on your doorstep.

  • Bring your wellies if you want to get in the water or borrow from us
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult

Register now and be part of this growing community movement to care for and celebrate the River Beck.

You'll receive a confirmation email ahead of the event with meeting location details.

Tyler, Toby and Joel look forward to welcoming you to the event.
