St Anne’s Park Children’s Centre

A place to meet other local parents and gain information and advice about all aspects of your child's development with the support of the local health visiting team and Family hub team. Opportunity to weigh your baby and lean about different aspects of your child's development. This is a drop-in group. You don't need to book just turn up on the day.

5 week programme for parents and carers to be, from 22 weeks of pregnancy onwards. Preparing for parenthood, focusing on building strong emotional health for parents, carers and baby.&nbsp;

Thank you for booking on to the Hello Baby course at St Anne's Park Family Hub/Children’s Centre September 2026. We are pleased to welcome you to the group and staff are looking forward to meeting you all. The sessions are weekly for 4 weeks: Week 1 - Learn about support available for new parents from Family Hubs and get to meet other new parents in your local area. Information about pelvic health, contraception, and session for dads and non-birthing parents. Week 2 - Learn about different feeding choices, how to understand your baby's feeding cues and the support available to help you with your feeding journey. Week 3 - Learn about labour, birth, and post-birth care, and what to expect when you take your baby home. Week 4 - Understand your baby's needs, their communication, brain development, and how to look after your own emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and post-birth. A free, four week antenatal course for parents from 26 weeks of pregnancy, helping you feel ready for birth and life with your new baby. The course will help you prepare for the birth experience and the early days. Sessions are run by Family Hubs, infant feeding teams, midwives, and health visitors.

A space where child minders can connect, share experiences, receive support and a network for collaboration.

Small 6 week group for pregnant parents and birth supporters together, including a significant other who will have a close, lasting relationship with your baby.

The group supports each parent or carer to connect with their unborn baby, give you  space to explore any hopes and fears about becoming a parent or carer, and to support you to prepare for the changes ahead.

One to one support for parents, including expectant parents, offering information about all aspects of breastfeeding, formula feeding, or mixed feeding.
