<h1>Join us for a different Sunday!</h1> Come and connect with other Camden +50 Residents for a day of Yoga, Cinema and a Jukebox. We will start the day with physical stretching and then eat, watch a film curated by errante cinema and finish the day listening to music brought and selected by you. Please bring your own vinyl record(s) for a record player or your favourite playlists on Spotify for us to play! (optional) Booking is essential. This is an activity supported by Camden Council in association with the Holborn Community Association.

A fun, creative and ideal way to get to grips with basic and more advanced techniques. This fun and supportive course offers you the opportunity to explore different drawing and painting techniques in a relaxed environment, where you will develop skills and confidence to create beautiful artworks. You will be introduced to a range of drawing skills and techniques. You will experiment with a variety of drawing and painting media, including, pencil, ink, charcoal, pastels and paints. This course is suitable for all levels, including beginners. By the end of the course you will be able to:<ul><li>Learn new drawing and painting skills.</li><li>Explore a range of media, including pencil,</li><li>charcoal, ink, pastels and paint.</li><li>Develop confidence in a range of techniques.</li><li>Produce artworks using different processes.</li></ul> This is a FREE* class - Open to all.

JAPANESE AINU PURSES What is the course about?Be inspired by the beautiful geometric embroidery found inkimonos and textile items of the Ainu People.The Ainu people create wonderful designs using fabric and thread, each community has its own unique pattern which is made up of three popular shapes, these come together to make visually striking designs. What will I achieve on this course? During this course you will learn how to draw, applique and stitch a design onto a panel of fabric.This panel may be displayed as a wall piece or be constructed into a small drawstring bag to keep special items or sewing accessories. By the end of the course you will: <ul><li>Draw geometric designs inspired by the traditional shapesfound in the Ainu textiles.</li><li>Learn and demonstrate textile techniques including embroidery(couching and chain stitch) and applique.</li><li>Learn about the culture and history of Ainu textiles.</li><li>Know how to develop textile designs and patterns.</li><li>Use colour in a creative way.</li></ul> Free workshop in collaboration with WM College
