Electric Storm Youth 

Electric Storm Youth is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and empowering young people in Lancing,  Sompting and surrounding areas. Our mission is to improve the personal and social development of teenagers, teaching them new skills and enhancing the quality of their lives. We are committed to laying the foundations for a brighter future by providing inspiration and hope to those in need.

Through our various programs and initiatives (mentoring, detached work, young carers, youth forums), we offer support to teenagers, parent/carers and helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence and develop essential life skills. Our focus is on creating a positive impact on the lives of young people in our community, guiding and supporting personal growth and resilience. With the support of our dedicated team and partners, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the youth we serve, ultimately contributing to a stronger and more vibrant community.

Let your creativity shine! Come and join us for a mix of arts, crafts and joyful activities.Get creative in a safe and chilled space with snacks and drinks too. Our Youth Team will be here with a different creative activity each session, from painting to building to inventing! Plus it's a great place to chat to our Youth Workers and connect with other young people, all whilst doing something artistic and enjoying an array of snacks! This activity is suitable for young people aged between 10 and 18.

Every Thursday after school our Youth Team are out and about in Lancing and Sompting in our mobile van. In the summer we head to the skate park on Lancing Beach Green so come and say hello (we have drinks and snacks too!)

The Youth Forum is a dedicated space for 10 -18 year olds to have their voices heard, tackle topics and develop critical thinking through structured debates. It empowers young peopl to share their perspectives on everything from local issues to national government guidance. By participating, young people help shape the charity’s future, ensuring our provision is built directly on their ideas and leadership. Plus there's games and snacks!

Come along to our Friday term time session for a chill space to hang out after the school week.We have free snacks, various games, a PS5 and a different activity you can join in every week. We'll have things like quizzes, cooking, crafts and more! It's also a safe space to chat to our Youth Team and to hang out with other young people.This session is for Year 6 and Year 7 young people. Please note that your young person must be registered with us to join this session. Please book on to the session/s your young person wants to join, this is to make sure there is a space for your young person. We only hold a select amount of spaces for drop-ins. Thank you.

On the last Sunday of the month, we are at the High School Hang Out at Andy's Angels Grief Cafe. Grief can feel awkward. Lonely. Different.And school doesn’t exactly come with a lesson on how to deal with it.That’s why Andy's Angels run their High School Hang Out a Sunday morning, once a month, just for teens aged 11 years plus.No pressure. No awkward circle chats. No having to talk about anything you don’t want to.Just a chilled space where you can hang out with other young people who get it.You can:<ul><li>Interactive games</li><li>Do crafts or creative stuff</li><li>Grab snacks and drinks</li><li>Chat, laugh, or just be quiet</li><li>Qualified Youth Worker</li></ul>The Andy's Angels team and our qualified youth worker team are around if you need us, but mostly this is your space to feel normal again, even when life doesn’t.A lot of teens say this becomes the one thing in the month they actually look forward to, a place where you don’t have to explain yourself and you’re not the “kid who’s had a loss”.You’re just you.One Sunday morning a month at The Grief Play Café.Come as you are. Stay as long as you like

Hope Hive

A great space to hang out with friends and make new ones in an informal and relaxed environment. Free snacks, games galore and a PS5 all on offer. A friendly place where you can chat to our Youth Team about anything and everything.This session is for Years 8 to Year 13.
